Whether you’re packing up your RV for a weekend getaway or have given up your stationary home to live full-time in a van, a small rug is one of the easiest ways to infuse your space with style and personality.
An RV rug (or several) not only adds color and pattern to an otherwise neutral space, but it’s also a great way to add a soft cushion underfoot. And as an added bonus, the fact that all our rugs are washable means you’ll be able to easily clean them when life in the RV, van, or camper gets messy.
To give you some inspiration, we’ve rounded up six of the best RV rugs to add style and comfort to your home on wheels.
1. Damali Black and White Rug
Turn your RV or van into a boho haven with a little help from the perfect black and white rug. Thanks to its light color, this indoor RV rug works great at brightening up the space. And since it’s water-resistant, stain-resistant, and machine washable, you don’t need to worry about spills or tracking dirt. Pair your rug with warm-colored curtains and a throw blanket, tons of greenery, and string lights for the ultimate boho haven.
2. Hendesi Heriz Garnet Rug
Brighten up a drab color palette with a richly colored Persian-style rug for your camper or van. The reds and blues in this 5’x7’ rv rug add depth and style to the blacks and browns in the rest of the living space. Add some light-colored pillows, blanket, and fur throw to balance out the dark colors and add some coziness to the room.
3. Yuma Polychrome Rug
An RV or converted bus doesn’t have a lot of floor width, so it’s the perfect place to incorporate a runner rug. It will give you that pop of color and personality you need without taking up a lot of space. Try a colorful Southwestern-inspired pattern either in the hallway or kitchen of your RV to add a punch of color and play off an outdoorsy-inspired decor theme.
4. Zareen Paprika Red Rug
Who says red and green don’t go together? This red traditional rug really pops against the forest green cabinets in this RV living area. While the color combo might not be most people’s first choice, it works surprisingly well thanks to the opposite shades balancing each other out. It gives off a cozy, eclectic vibe that works especially well with the warm brown tones.
5. Kavi Diamond Rose Gold Rug
There’s just something so comforting about mixed neutrals, and this RV is no different. Black, white, tan, and grey are expertly layered in the form of various textures that gives this living space a homey vibe. The rose gold camper rug with its minimal geometric design is the icing on the cake and adds just the right amount of warmth to the decor.
6. Almana Black and White Rug
An RV rug in an intricate floral pattern adds just the right amount of elegance to this space, while the black and white color palette fits right in with the black sofa, white chair, and emerald green cabinets. For a boho vibe, add some hints of brown and tan, plus lots of plants to turn your trailer into a relaxing escape.

I would like a Ruggable for my Class B Camper. The rug would have to be cut to size. Is this possible? I understand this would likely void the warrant. I was was thinking about rebinding the raw edges after I fit to the proper size. Is this doable?
Hello, Bev. Thank you for your interest in our rugs!
We have had several customers use our rugs in their campers and as long as normal maintenance and set up is applied (i.e., not laying it over carpetting, using the Cover in conjunction with the pad, ensuring it’s on a flat surface, etc.) we have heard they have worked great! In regards to altering our rugs, we unfortunately do not have any insight or suggestions with this as we do not recommend altering our rugs. With that said, if you were to have someone professionally alter the rug please do note it will not be covered under our warranty as mentioned due to it being considered adnormal use and wear.
We do apologize we are unable to provide furhter insight into the matter.
