Fashion meets function with our all-new Cynthia Rowley Rug Collection! Designed in collaboration with renowned fashion and home decor designer Cynthia Rowley, this collection features bold floral prints, playful geometric patterns, and pretty pastel colors, capturing her pretty-meets-sporty sense of style while staying true to Ruggable’s functional features: stain and water-resistant, nonslip, and machine-washable.
Cynthia Rowley x Ruggable
Ever since the Dr. Seuss-inspired Rugway made its debut last September at New York Fashion Week, Ruggable has been collaborating with Cynthia and her team to launch her eponymous rug collection. According to her, a rug brings the whole room together—and it’s even better if it’s washable!
“When I think about changing the look and feel of a room, nothing sparks joy like a new rug. I hope this collection does just that,” shares Cynthia Rowley. “I just love the idea of mixing prints and layering patterns in your home to create a collage. And so we’ve created colorful original prints and patterns to brighten every room. With Ruggable, it’s easy to experiment and express yourself and make every room your happy place.”
If you’re in spring-cleaning mode, this is the perfect time to freshen up your space with a new rug! And because it’s spring, you’ll find a breadth of colors and floral patterns in our Cynthia Rowley rugs. Here’s a sneak peek of our newest collection, as well as tips on how to decorate these rugs from our favorite Instagram stylists.
1. Cynthia Rowley Suzani Black Rug
Styled by: Sarah @joineryanddesignco
What do you love about this rug? “I love the neutral palette and the combination of the black rug and the black hexagon tile. I like that I can just lay the rug down and it goes with all the other decor elements in the room. It’s a one-of-a-kind design and brought so much life to our mudroom space!”
Suzani Black Rug is also available in white (see topmost image).
2. Cynthia Rowley In Bloom Pastel Rug
Styled by: Loren Carr of @bluebarnandcottage
What do you love about this rug? “I love the whimsical pattern and bright colors of the two flowers. It brightened up my daughter’s bedroom and made it feel happy. She loves setting up tea parties for her dolls on the rug and I’ve even let her pour real drinks for them since I don’t worry as much about spills.”
How did you style it? “I added pale pink and white bedding with a gingham quilt and throw pillows with rainbows and bright colors. I love how the teal and yellow in the rug bring out those subtle colors in the pillows.”
3. Cynthia Rowley Pompom Black and White Rug
Styled by: Ali of @barcbybrettandali
What do you love about this rug? “I chose this rug because it felt very fresh and seasonal and yet still in my comfort zone of colors: black and white. I love the pattern and the subtle gray variation in the background; it adds just the right amount of dimension!”
How did you style it? “I put it in our dining room. It was very timely because I was moving the previous rug to our bedroom and this felt like the perfect time to really get ready for spring/summer! Even though it’s still neutral, it made the room feel brighter and a bit happier (yes, rugs can evoke emotions!).”
Any other spring decorating tip? “I’d suggest adding fresh, seasonal greens/florals (depending on your style), making sure there are natural green elements to break up the neutral color scheme.”
4. Cynthia Rowley Lamella Blue Rug
Styled by: Aneliese Ochoa @fiddleleafinteriors
What do you love about this rug? “I love swapping out my kitchen rug for the seasons! The Lamella Blue Rug is perfect for summer and the 4th of July! I love having the ability to swap out designs so easily with Ruggable rugs.”
How did you style it? “Cynthia Rowley rugs bring a more fun, warm weather vibe—perfect for the upcoming seasons. I added a few real potted plants and I always swap out my countertop bouquet to go with the season.”
Any other spring decorating tips? “When you select a rug, consider the colors you already have in your space but also have fun with it! Add a pop of color for a warmer season that maybe you wouldn’t otherwise have, then grab some fresh flowers from your garden or local florist. Use those to really bring out the details of your new rug.”
5. Cynthia Rowley Petals Multicolor Rug
Styled by: Erika of @PeonyandHoney
What do you love about this rug? “I love the colors and repeating print! It’s just pure joy in a rug! ”
How did you style it? “I placed it in my kitchen, which really brightened up the space. It added that fun, bright touch of spring. I also added some new fun dish towels and a new hanging plant to match its cheerful vibe!”
Any other spring decorating tip? “I always say pull colors from a rug you love to add accents in your space.”
