Our latest Neo Geometric Rugs collection is an elevated take on retro modern design rendered beautifully all in a washable area rug. Our designers were inspired by mid-century design, architecture and expressionist artists.
The creative process included hand drawing various geo shapes in charcoal and then rendering it digitally. Currently, we are seeing trends in geometric planters, shelving, and ornamental structures as an inspirational nod to mid-century modern architects and designers like Frank Lloyd Wright, Herman Miller and Charles and Ray Eames.
These graphic shapes are also appearing in area rugs and rug runners like our Prisma Hexagon Rug, but with an updated twist. The modern geometric design plays with layered linework and color, creating an abstract vintage effect and a fresh take on the classic honeycomb shape. Influenced by mid-20th century abstract art expressionist, Hans Hofmann, the vintage style motif of our washable Color Field rug collection combines abstract shapes with modern hues.
If you are looking to spruce up your mid-century space or minimalist bedroom, modernize your home’s decorative story by infusing mid-century accents in unexpected spaces. It is easy to add hints of vintage pops of color and shapes to kitchens, mudrooms, playrooms, and office spaces is easy with the Urbano Rosewood Rug machine washable rugs and runners.
This season, look to artists you love and appreciate as inspiration to elevate your home’s mid-century modern decor.

I am so happy with the three Ruggable’s that I have purchased and recommend you all the time. I would love to see 2 × 3 rugs in the collection. For some kitchens, like mine, the runner doesn’t work nor does the 3 × 5. High quality, washable, 2 × 3 would be awesome!!!!
