Adding a white plush rug is one of the easiest ways to make a space look more expensive. It could be because of the way it cuddles your skin as you sink your feet into its heavenly softness. Or the way its whiteness makes the space look larger than it really is. Or it could be the fact that it’s harder to maintain and keep pristine for a longer period of time. Whatever it is, a high-maintenance rug like this gives an aura of elegance and prestige almost effortlessly.
No wonder having a white fluffy rug had always been a pipe dream especially for most pet owners and parents of young, active children—until we launched our washable Plush Rugs collection! Our plush area rugs are thicker, softer (think crimped wool), and higher-pile than our chenille rugs…but just as machine-washable!
And now, because of your overwhelming response to our Plush, we’re excited to announce that we have launched some new color and style additions to our Plush Rugs collection!
Plush Rugs, Now With New Styles and Colors
If you loved our white Moroccan plush rugs, you’ll be happy to know that our collection now has three Moroccan-inspired patterns—Ornate Diamond, and Zigzag—and four solid colors: Polar White, Stormy Grey, Midnight Ocean Blue, and Oatmeal. These softy and furry rugs are available in 6’x9’, 5’x7’, 3’x5’, runner rug sizes.
Aside from the living room, bedroom, and nursery, these rugs are also perfect for rooms you’d normally not put a plush rug or a white rug in, such as the kitchen, dining room, laundry room, and even the entryway.
What Stylists Say About Our Plush Rugs
Here are just a few reasons our friends from Instagram are obsessed with our new Plush Rugs. Bonus: we also took a peek at how they styled them in their own homes!
1. It’s so soft—and it can withstand my two messy little boys.
“Our casual dining space gets used and abused like no other room in our house. I wanted a rug that could withstand my two messy little boys. It’s hard to believe we’ve come to a point where white plush rugs can be placed under our dining tables, but Ruggable has made it possible!

I’ve already washed this rug twice since receiving it. The first time, my 3-year-old dropped spaghetti noodles on it. The second time, I spilled my coffee (and even let it sit there for a few days). There is no trace of the stains after washing and looks as good as new!
And did I mention that it’s soooo soft? As soon as I laid it out on the floor, my husband walked over to touch it and said, ‘Wow! I want to lay on it!’ Me too, babe. Me, too!”

2. I can keep it for years, or switch it out from time to time with another Ruggable rug.
“I love how soft and well made this rug is, but especially that it’s machine-washable! Who would have guessed that this rug can be used in the kitchen?! Not me! But the fact that it can easily be cleaned makes it such a statement. It’s a rug you can keep for years or easily switch out with another Ruggable Rug Cover.”

3. It’s hard to find a Moroccan-style plush rug that’s washable.
“I love how incredibly soft and cozy it is, and how the simple geometric lines complement my style so well! I also love being able to have this ivory/white color and style of rug that’s washable, since you’d be hard-pressed to find that in other Moroccan-style rugs!

4. It adds warmth and coziness to my space.
I just love how soft this rug is! It brings extra warmth and coziness to the room. It’s perfect in our sunroom because our kids and dog are coming in here from outside several times a day. I love that I don’t need to stress about the dirt coming in, because I can easily put it in the washing machine and it comes out looking brand new.

5. It meets both my designer and mom needs.
“I chose this rug because it met both my designer and mom needs. It is beautiful yet functional. It is modern, neutral so it blends well with any home decor, soft and comfortable for my kids to play and have fun in, and also easy to keep clean.

In a family with small children, I don’t like stressing about staining our rugs. I want to allow my kids to play freely, be creative, and explore. If there is ever a mess, I can easily roll it up and toss it into the washer. It comes out like new. Everyone is happy!”

*chants* 8×10! 8×10! 8×10! I need this size to swap out my dingy Moroccan shag in our living room.
Agreed with Octavia! I was so excited when I saw this on the front page. But sadly, my living room looks best with at least an 8×10. The search continues!
Please make these in 8×10 & please make then soon. I am in need of one & don’t want to go somewhere else .
Thanks for your interest, Kari! Although we currently don’t offer that size (yet 😉), never say never! We’ll make sure to share your interest with our team! 🙂
