Linda Lai, the Chief Marketing Officer at Ruggable, recently took over our Instagram to give a sneak peek inside her Los Angeles apartment. The sunny space features a mix of natural and contemporary decor elements with pops of turquoise and yellow—plus a whole lot of plants! Here she shares how she styled her favorite Ruggable rugs in the living room, bedroom, and balcony.

Profession: Chief Marketing Officer at Ruggable
Rugs of Choice: Anza Turquoise Rug, Maral Heriz Sapphire Rug, and Outdoor Filifera Palm Green Rug
Anza Turquoise Rug in the Living Room
“I spend so much time in the living room. I wanted the room to look earthy, so I picked a rug that had my favorite colors: a rich turquoise and dark brown and terracotta.
I centered the design around the rattan coffee table and this beautiful rug. It has a jewel-toned but earthy color to it. And obviously I made sure I put a lot of plants in here.”
Maral Heriz Sapphire Rug in the Bedroom
“My bedroom is very mid-century modern with a pop of color. I love spending time in here, watching some Netflix as my boyfriend plays video games outside. I feel happy in here. I feel bright. The yellow and the pop of color really brings that joy into the space.
I wanted a touch of tradition in a mid-century modern room. The Maral Heriz Rug was the perfect complement with the right colors—royal blue, red, and a touch of turquoise and yellow.”
Outdoor Filifera Palm Green Rug on the Balcony
“This balcony has become another favorite space of mine. I have some basil plants growing in the background.
Recently I got a new outdoor Ruggable rug. Since I have a small balcony, I wanted the rug to make a statement, to expand the space. The Filifera Outdoor Rug did just that. I felt like I could look into urban LA and still feel a part of nature.”
