In the design world, few things are as disappointing as a home devoid of personality. After all, there are so many ways to infuse your space with character, from your furniture selection down to the decor. We’re biased, but our favorite way to do so is a rug that complements our interior aesthetic — and our individuality.
Interested? We’ve curated a guide to the best rugs for your personality, including options for the introvert, the modern antiquarian, the foodie, and more. Keep scrolling to meet your match.

1. The Creative: Abstract Rugs
Inspired by abstract expressionism, which boomed in the ’40s and ’50s, abstract rugs combine design elements you wouldn’t necessarily imagine together, like asymmetrical shapes in an unexpected colorway. One thing’s for sure: This style is undeniably a conversation-starter.
2. The Fashionista: Cynthia Rowley Rugs

If you’re an introvert, chances are you value a quiet, serene space to relax and recharge. That said, no collection fits the bill better than our Plush Rugs, which make it easy to create a cozy environment. Go monochrome with the Polar White Plush Rug, or get geometric with the Moroccan Ornate Plush Rug.
4. The Extrovert: Jonathan Adler Rugs

Jonathan Adler’s work is bold and impactful, à la the extrovert. The designer’s Ruggable collection perfectly epitomizes his art style, making a big statement with geometric patterns that will have house guests doing a double-take.

Bohemian-style rugs famously borrow design elements from all over the world, making it a brilliant choice for those who are always booking flights to their next destination. Boho rugs incorporate eclectic designs and unexpected textures that can complement a wide variety of interior aesthetics.

Love Disney? Star Wars™? Let your personality shine through with a novelty rug that reflects your special interests. Keep in mind: We offer styles that aren’t overtly thematic if you’re looking for something low-key, like the Minnie Floral Multicolor Rug or the The Child Black & Cream Rug.
7. The Foodie: Fruit Rugs

Foodies: It doesn’t get much more on-brand than our fruit rugs. You really can’t go wrong with any rug in this collection, be it a subtle design for the minimalist like the Pina Jade Rug or a statement piece for the maximalist like the Bananas Yellow Rug.
8. The Modern Antiquarian: Retro Rugs

If you appreciate all things vintage but still like to keep it modern, check out our retro rugs, which are bursting with nostalgia (but not dust, thank goodness, since they aren’t from your local thrift shop). From funky patterns to vibrant colors, these designs will make your room feel like a time capsule to stylish decades past, in the best way possible.
9. The Daredevil: White & Cream Rugs

The daredevil invests in a white or cream rug and doesn’t fear accidentally knocking over a glass of red wine. The good news: Since all our designs are water-resistant, stain-resistant, and machine-washable, you don’t actually have to worry — but this still speaks to your brave character.

I am looking for a rug to go with my Kishale brick and blue jute rug that I have in my kitchen. I think I want another rug in the kitchen, small size 2×3. What do you suggest?
p.s. I really like the rug – the colors, the pattern.
Thanks
Looking for runner rugs for my bedroom. I have 2 large rottweilers and 2 cats. I like neutral colors for this room. Open for suggestions.
I love your rugs and can’t believe the change in my kitchen from adding one. After a couple of tries, I loved the Verena Dark Wood Rug & Cushioned Pad, 4×6. It was around $200 and worth every penny. Doesn’t show a thing! It helps catch the water droplets that slip off your hands from k.sink & the clean dishes from dishwasher and used to leave droplet marks all over my cherry wood floors-LOL! Doing that would kind of ruin the look of a nice clean kitchen, so I’d have to quick wipe it up constantly. Now my rug just looks swanky, & no one knows my motive, either! I think above you forgot the classic traditionalist style! We buy rugs too.
I will try to put a picture in:
Oops. Cannot do.
All I can say is everyone who tries one of these, loves them. Just try to match your decor already in room. My kitchen counter was grey with gold/black swirls on granite, a little busy but not too much so I had to keep that black theme going on the rug without introducing too much design. Tried 2 rugs first, then found the winner. Enjoy these!!
We love to hear this, Mary! We appreciate the kind words and love hearing feedback from our customers.
Thank you for sharing your own experience and suggestions! We hope to have you shop with us again in the future.🥰
